Sixth Form (A Levels) 2018 Examination Results
Scholars International Academy (SIA) is very pleased to announce 100% of students achieved A to C grades in the recently released A Level results.
The results are a reward for the hard work and commitment of students and staff alike. “Our cohort is outstanding in every way. We are very proud of them,” Nigel Melen, Principal.
Of our Year 13 class, 25% of all grades achieved were A and 75% A and B. No grades were below C for the entire cohort. This is an outstanding record of achievement by these SIA students.
- SIA is one of only two schools in Sharjah offering the full A Level program
- 25% of all grades were A
- 100% were A to C grades
- Highest cumulative grades were in Biology
- All Year 13 students plan to study at respected universities outside the UAE.
Our students have risen to the academic challenges of this two-year course with determination and ambition. They have balanced their studies alongside extra-curricular activities such as Outward Bound, First Aid, work experience, community service, running or assisting with after school clubs, leadership roles participating in university/career fairs and university presentations. With these attributes and grades the students have met the requirements of top universities world-wide.
SIA is one of only two schools in Sharjah offering the full A Level programme.

Rob Ellis, Head of Secondary said this is a reflection of the resolve of teachers and staff alike to build a strong A Level program. Our work is rewarded by our Year 13 grades in these very prestigious qualifications. We have proven ourselves as the school for students who excel. Our students achieved their highest grades in Biology, followed by Chemistry and Physics.
